This species is not a local salvage and is a single log with a slight sweep. The slabs exhibit wavy live edges, generous curly figure and a rugged yet refined warmth. There are good slabs for unique console or coffee tables and for those epoxy table lovers, these are prime candidates for the "river table". We also have a scattering of first cuts and odd pieces for functional or abstract art.
Rated at 2340 on the Janka scale, this super hard wood is prized by segmented woodturners and others for its exceptional stability.
